Baltic Indices Weekly Changes

Here are the percentages changes for this week of the various Baltic indices:

• Baltic Dry Index (BDI): -4.6%
• Baltic Capesize Index (BCI): -13.6%
• Baltic Panamax Index (BPI): -3.2%
• Baltic Supramax Index (BSI): +1.3%
• Baltic Handysize Index (BHSI): +13.1%

• Baltic Dirty Tanker (BDTI): -4.2%
• Baltic Clean Tanker (BCTI): -3.2%

The second week in a row for double digit increases in the Handysize. The multipurpose Supramax dry bulkers are also holding up well. The falling BDI is an interesting contrast to the recovery in stock market values.
