Golar LNG year end highlights

Biggest news: Golar LNG GLNG is now added to the suspended dividend list. Reading through the linked earnings report show a company and sector with more capacity to move LNG than there is LNG move. LNG processing plants under construction now will increase capacity by 60% over the next couple of years but the near future for Golar LNG looks tough. The company is also converting several ships to regassification projects, but again revenues from these projects are a ways off in the future.

This looks like a company that will thrive when the global economy is again growing and countries with growing energy needs turn to LNG to fill the gaps. That time is probably a year or longer off in the future. Wait for the reinstatement of the dividend before taking another look at this stock.
