NAT actually gained a little on announcing the minuscule dividend, much to my chagrin, as my policy is to dump slashers promptly.
I think I will stay out until the picture for tankers clarifies a bit.

Thanks a lot for this blog! It has helped me very much to begin “my investor career” ;D Especially TORM (TRMD) is very interesting stock and very undervalued at the time. After doing some research I’m pretty sure that TORM is an extremely good choice to hop on. Another interesting danish stock is of course D/S Norden (mainly drybulk), which has also been rammed pretty hard.

Keep up going with the blog, it is very nice to read your analyzing!

Every free source that I know of just gives the end of day results for the BDI. The Baltic Exchange charges a fee for real time information

is there a site, where i can view the BDI (baltc dry index) realtime (may some minutes late) for free?

and i am looking for some more index also.

Here is an interesting comment by the President of Diana Shipping:

“It would be the first V-shaped recession in shipping in living memory,” Margaronis said at the St. Regis Hotel. “Now, over the next three quarters we will have to cope with the effects of the shipping cycle, per se. The real shipping cycle.”

So could we see the low prices of these shippers for a while now?
