Star Bulk Carriers SBLK has declared a dividend of 5ยข per share to be paid to shareholders of record 7 July 2009. In the press release the company stated that they must receive approval from their lenders to continue dividend payments in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2008.

Star Bulk Shipping, SBLK, has suspended their dividend in return for relaxed covenants on their debt.
